What to expect from first call to final walkthrough on a kitchen, bathroom, or full remodel.
Every remodel is different, but the steps we follow to get there aren't. Below is the same process we use on every kitchen, bathroom, deck, or full remodeling project — so you know what's happening at each stage and roughly how long it takes.
Call, text, or fill out our online form with a quick description of what you want done. We'll ask a few questions and set up a time to come see the space in person — usually within a few business days.
We walk the space with you, measure what needs measuring, and talk through your goals and budget. You'll get a written, itemized estimate — no charge, no obligation to book.
Once you approve the estimate, we finalize materials, fixtures, and finishes together, and confirm a realistic start date and project timeline based on the scope of work.
We order materials, pull any required permits, and protect the surrounding areas of your home — flooring, furniture, and adjacent rooms — before any demo or construction starts.
Our crew completes the job on the schedule we agreed on, with regular updates so you're never wondering what stage the project is at.
We review the finished project together, point out anything worth knowing, and make sure you're fully happy before we call it done. Workmanship is backed by our warranty.
A single-room refresh like a bathroom remodel often runs a few weeks; a full kitchen remodel or larger project can take longer depending on scope, material lead times, and whether plumbing or electrical work is involved. We'll give you a realistic timeline as part of your written proposal, not a guess.
Not for most of the project, though we like to check in with you at key milestones — like before we close up walls or install final fixtures — to make sure everything matches what we agreed on.
Older homes sometimes reveal surprises behind walls or under flooring — outdated wiring, hidden water damage, or plumbing that needs updating. If that happens, we stop, explain what we found, and give you options and updated pricing before continuing. No surprise charges after the fact.
Tell us what you have in mind and we'll walk you through what the process looks like for your home.
