Accessibility Statement

Last updated: September 2026

Our commitment

Ivy Farms Home Services is committed to making ivyfarmshomeservices.com usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, or keyboard-only navigation.

Conformance status

We aim for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. This is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix — we review and update the site as we find opportunities to improve.

Measures we take

Steps built into this site include: descriptive alt text on images, a logical heading structure, keyboard-accessible navigation and menus, sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds, native HTML form controls and accordions instead of custom widgets where possible, and a mobile-responsive layout that works across screen sizes and zoom levels.

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content — such as embedded third-party maps, videos, or review widgets — is provided by outside services and may not fully meet the same accessibility standard. We're not able to modify that third-party code directly, but we choose vendors that support reasonable accessibility practices where we can.

Feedback

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site, please let us know. Contact us at projects@ivyfarmshomeservices.com or (757) 416-2625 with the page URL and a description of the issue, and we'll work to address it. We try to respond to accessibility feedback within a few business days.

Assessment approach

We assess accessibility through a combination of self-evaluation during development and periodic manual review, including keyboard-only navigation checks and automated scanning tools.

This statement describes the accessibility of ivyfarmshomeservices.com and does not apply to third-party sites we link to, such as Yelp, Google, Facebook, Instagram, MapQuest, or Angi.
